John Scofield Quiet
Voto:
Wonderful review! The only Scofield album I have is the amazing "Works For Me" from 2001 with Brad Mehldau on piano (!), Christian McBride on double bass, Billy Higgins on drums, and Kenny Garrett on alto sax. You’ve made me want to listen to it again and to get this "Quiet."

It sounds really interesting!

I will listen to it with a rose in my mouth :-) Beautiful review, just like the proposal.

Great review, as always. I'm a bit puzzled about the album; it almost seems like the smooth tones, which I don't love very much, tend to prevail: is that right?
Keith Jarrett The Melody At Night With You
Voto:
What a magnificent review for the most personal and intimate Jarrett masterpiece! I too am deeply attached to this album, the ideal companion for evenings of thoughtful reflection, of benevolent melancholy. To be savored while sinking into the embrace of a loved one.

A group completely unknown to me, a beautiful and intriguing review.

It truly seems like one of those ultra-niche records, capable of providing an extraordinarily satisfying listening experience, as well as the awareness of having entered a musical world shared with only a few other lucky ones. Well done as always Odra, and a fitting sprinkling of ashes for me, as I let the twin review by Aristarco slip through my fingers.

It may not seem thrilling, but I promise myself a listen as soon as the mule delivers it to me. On the cover, I sign the good wrecking ball.

Odra, thank you so much; I will follow these tips. Speaking of minimalists (even though I hate these boxed definitions), yesterday I saw Philip Glass with his Ensemble in "Powaqqatsi"... wow, powerful, universal, at times shocking, a truly unique vision and experience.
