Damn, Boris, what weights! An annihilating record, it builds up with a slowness and tension that wears you down and mushes your brain.

Oh how beautiful this is. Speaking of kraut, Neu are among the most instantly recognizable (and their influence is immediately identifiable, wherever it exists) and I love this way of making music. Hell yeah for Rother and Dinger.

I like Pretazzo. Maybe it's not a Killers, but it grabs enough.

I didn't hear him, instead I heard the works of Michael Rother (Flammende Herzen and Harmonia) and they are very, very good.

Maybe you didn't see my first comment ;) I think it's a wonderful album.

It's a beautiful album, but in my opinion, it doesn't resonate, it doesn't make an impact, it doesn't stick in the memory. The cover is ugly. But maybe I should stop listening to everything that Chris plays.

Do you know Neu75? It's like the longer tracks of that, but much, much more childishly and trivially melodic. Sugar, honey, immediate synth melodies to whistle and sing while you spin in a circle. It has something of the motorik rhythm; it's stuff that can be irritating. I would recommend the self-titled debut (which I reviewed some time ago).

Syrupy, amateurish, instant diabetes. Cotton candy, it’s diving into the future with tears of joy in your eyes. Klaus Dinger was a little twit who wore white tights.

I also quote supersoul! And to vortex I say: what about all the SST groups? And T&G? The so-called post-hardcore? Aussie rock? Paisley Underground?
