I’ve heard this, the one from 2004 with the white and pink cover (which I have the original of) and the latest from 2007. Plus a few other scattered tracks here and there. But honestly, I wouldn’t know what to tell you; I don’t think they’re worth much. They sound good, they’re heavy, but who knows. They have a fairly extensive discography of grinding riffs without imagination; I think that pretty much anything you pick will be okay.

They hit hard and crush stones in abundance with a gritty and muscular sound. Heavy and granite rock without a hint of "genius in songwriting" and nothing that isn't just vintage rock standard.

I don't pretend to be gay, I am! You listened to just one album and it made you sick: so, what do you know about Husker Du? As for the cultural legacy, I don't know what you're talking about and I'm not refuting anything. To be honest, I don't even know what "refuting" means.

You forgot all the Australian rock (and not).

Sorry Enea, but this time you really missed the mark. Your analysis is quite dull, to say the least. Worn-out arguments (also here on debaser) treated with superficiality. On to the next chapter. (P.S.: Husker Du made at most one and a half hardcore albums, for the rest they were the greatest melodic rock band of the '80s).

I remember it being very, very beautiful. But maybe I digested the 4th album of the 50th birthday series better (shorter?).

I also vote Earthless. And as for the trips, I raise the ante with Wooden Shjips (vol. 1) and White Hills.

I feel both cLOUDDEAD. I’m not exactly a stranger to this stuff. I remember some time ago, with the help of ZiOn, I made a list of things to listen to. I try, but I’m just not really cut out for these things.

Me too! I sent the review of Euphoria to Ondarock, not to this shitty site.
