It sounds like an amazing band. I listened to "Perfect From Now On" some time ago, but I can't remember what it was like. I'll give it another listen.

@odradek: How and why write a review? There's a forum page opened two years ago by Hal where this topic is discussed, link: Pagina non trovata I was particularly struck by Mr. Iko's responses (reviewing an album is talking ABOUT YOURSELF to others) and zzzzzz's (the ten commandments of Giorgio Messori). PS: the fact that you remember my entrance into DeB is an added source of embarrassment :)

@wanderer: here’s one of the most eclectic listeners of DeBaser, I hope at least one of my DeRecensoree actions hit the mark, leading you to add a new album to your endless list. @chienandal: well, then thank you so much. I put a bit of heart into this review, I’m glad you liked it. I recommend, instead of this, that you and Mopaga immediately dive into "Yerself Is Steam," which is very similar to Boces but definitely better (and also more accessible). Then, if you like that, Boces becomes almost mandatory.

Interesting mention, I'll give them a try.

So, I wasn't referring to Di Anno (who, for me, is infinitely superior to Dickinson); I was specifically talking about X-Factor. Virtual XI is horrible, I absolutely agree on that, but The X Factor was an honest album, with good ideas, like they hadn't made in a long time.

mmm, but wasn't Stairway to Heaven copied?

In my opinion, it's a good album. Both Priest and Maiden made two of their best records when they changed frontman. A well-deserved three plus. I haven't read the review, it's too long, I'll give you a 5 because you won.
