¡Forward, Russia! Give Me A Wall

Nice one. Fast, concise, effective, this is how you attract readers!

@dEDOLUZ: technique has nothing to do with it; there are many valuable albums played with very little technique (and Scaruffi certainly doesn't prioritize technique, eh). The purpose of music (if it's correct to use that word) cannot be solely entertainment. Rather, entertaining the listener can be a means to achieve other goals. Considering fun or emotion as the sole purpose of music is to hold a low opinion of it.

Avantgarde-metal? I could give it a thought. The review is well written, but I have my doubts that it connects much with the album in question, doesn't it?

So, the "purpose" of music would be TO ENTERTAIN?

Made especially for me?!?! Wow, what an honor! I'm speechless, you shouldn't go out of your way, you know that at least one album that I absolutely love you've already reviewed, right? (I'm thinking of Rip Rig & Panic)

Here I am as a faithful Odradek reader, knowing that the record being proposed I might never actually listen to. But whatever, the review is, as always, a pleasure to read, and you never know when I might feel the urge to further broaden my musical horizons. I try to keep my mind as open as possible...

Hey, who are these guys? How do you know all these groups? (as it was said in the review of the fusillo: here’s yet another lengthy review of an album that everyone knows, what’s the point? Who wants to read it? Not me.)

Metallic compliments galore, I'll give this a try. (the cover is really horrible, huh)
Kurt Weill Die Dreigroschenoper (Opera da Tre Soldi)
Voto:
You're right about everything, Odradek. There are many more comments on reviews of well-known albums rather than on unusual things; just think, there are even people who believe that there are no more albums to review, and that's why duplicates are mandatory... BUT OPEN YOUR EYES, SEEK NEW THINGS! I'm tired of hearing that only Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and a few others exist.

With challenge I meant "challenge with oneself," certainly not with others (though a bit of competition never hurts). Of course, you can write as long as you want if it pleases you (and indeed the one about the Pentangle was well-written and interesting enough that I didn't notice the length), just know that you might have fewer readers than you wish.
