Oh, really? I hadn't noticed :) Well, let's say that in sickman's review, the song descriptions were more focused on the overall mood of the album and were well camouflaged. In yours, however, it's almost a description for its own sake, for example: "a dark and nearly claustrophobic psychedelic blues, with a piercing guitar countering the hypnotic march of Kendra's bass, guiding us through the mandatory transition from dream to nightmare." Yeah, okay, it technically describes the piece but it's not that interesting... Your review is written with wonderful style, let me repeat that, but it has this flaw.

Hey, but you don't count my comment and the one from the wrecking crew? Socrates, just so you know, the average number of comments on high-level reviews is that (with exceptions, right odradek?). So, if you have few comments, consider yourself lucky; just look at how many idiots there are in the reviews in the right column...

Odradek, look, the kraut is getting a lot of comments just because a review comes out every twenty days, if we're lucky. Socrates, what can I say, the album seems like something essential, I’ll grab it as soon as possible (but how the hell am I supposed to listen to all these records?). The review is beautifully written, I give you a 4 only because I absolutely hate, with all my heart, track-by-track descriptions or whatever the hell they’re called!

@psychopompe: I miss the bonus tracks, damn. As for the reissues, the coolest one I have is the first Faust, translucent with the X-ray and the transparent sheet with the lyrics inside. The one by Ash Ra that you described makes my mouth water...
