Grant Hart Intolerance
Voto:
I was also for Bob Mould in Huskers, visceral and desperate, but his solo works and those with the awful Sugar are far inferior to this Intolerance (they say he has converted to electronic dance music now??). I’ll add about the Minutemen: there’s an interview with Grant Hart on the DVD.

It has nothing to do with it, but I'm making another nostalgic mention: the double DVD on the Minutemen "We Jam Econo" has been released, telling the story of the band from its beginnings to D's death in a car accident. There are also interviews, complete concerts (including one acoustic), etc. I've already ordered it; I know a tear will fall when I see that big guy rocking out on stage...

Odradek in a nostalgic version. I have this record, it is by far the best thing the mould/hart duo has done since the breakup. Hart had an exceptional melodic talent and Paul McCartney can kiss my ass, Intolerance is full of beautiful songs. I also recommend "Ecce Homo," an acoustic concert with just guitar/voice by Hart, where he also plays some old Huskers songs.
Tangerine Dream Zeit

Aeneas, rather than the atomic theory, I would consider the theory of "quanta." I am not familiar with Zeit, so I refer to Alpha Centauri. It is the quantity that gives meaning to music in this case; the grandeur and the sense of the boundless cosmic depths are given by the amount of music contained in the disc, by the length of the tracks. And, as quantum theory states, one can proceed only "by quanta," therefore the tracks have a defined length, and in that length, they find their fulfillment.

This is beautiful, beautiful, even Accelerator. Royal Trux were a tough band.
Comets On Fire Avatar

I liked it a lot. Of course, it's much softer and more packaged than the previous ones, but it definitely deserves four stars.
The Mars Volta De-Loused In The Comatorium

It doesn't resonate with me, too pompous and too clean-sounding for my ears. I must admit, though, they have a certain class.
