Neurosis Given To The Rising
Voto:
I'm not a Neurosis D.O.C., but this seems to hurt less (it's more enjoyable to listen to) than others (Souls at Zero and Through Silver in Blood). Or am I wrong?
Orange Goblin The Big Black
Voto:
3 and a half. I don’t know, Orange Goblin seem to me just one of many bands.
Orange Goblin The Big Black

Well, the title track is their most doom and dark piece so far (but I don't know, I only have the first three). Frequencies might be better.
Dead Milkmen Beelzebubba
Voto:
Hey, these are among Mark Prindle's favorites! I guess I'll give them a listen.
Dead Milkmen Beelzebubba

Between Butthole Surfers, Camper Van Beethoven, and Big Boys: a typical pretazziana offering. Beelzebubba!
Arbouretum Rites Of Uncovering
Voto:
Mark it down!
Old Time Relijun Witchcraft Rebellion
Voto:
Uh, I didn't think they were still around. I have just one record of theirs, spastic and crazy blues, remarkable.
Television Marquee Moon
Voto:
The fact that they influenced all those fake dancey and predictable neo new-wave groups certainly doesn’t make them one of the most important bands in rock. That said, Marquee Moon is a good album, not as essential as other New York stuff from the era.
Odawas Raven And The White Night
Voto:
I completely agree with the reviewer. A nice and modest psychedelic album, without too many pretensions. Sometimes it's just right that way.
Germs (MIA) the complete antology

To me, it seems that in the post-hc scene there are an INFINITE number of groups and different styles. In fact, thinking in terms of compartments and better/worse is a bit of nonsense, but to some extent, you have to do it to discuss. A tip for everyone: TRAGIC MULATTO. An unknown post-Butthole Surfers group but of incredible quality. Review by philosopho here: Locos Por El Sexo - Tragic Mulatto - Recensione di philosopho
