The review isn't about the album but about what Jerry has done after AIC. I bought the album original a few months after its release, musically flawless and in tune with the latest Alice in Chains. The problem is obviously the voice. Jerry is a great guitarist, but vocally he’s mundane.

Mad Season, much better for sure. They should have, all the greats of Seattle, made an album for Layne Staley; then I would have liked it. This has some nice tracks, but you can tell they are still all too raw.

I can only say that Pearl Jam are the only survivors of the Seattle scene. If you had seen Alice in Chains or Soundgarden or Nirvana in 2007, you would have been much more thrilled. Pearl Jam were the most strategically studied band of the grunge era. In fact, they are still alive..............rest in peace Layne.

I listened to the album after reading your favorable reviews. Filled with hope, I unfortunately found that it’s not what you described............ surely you were all too emotionally involved with adolescent issues at the time when you listened to the album. You didn’t notice that, unfortunately, these guys are a Ligabue in grunge form with the advantage of having musicians who play very well, especially the drummer and bassist. Nothing more. If they're in the oblivion, I completely understand the reason...... and not just because we are in Italy......... regards and sorry, but the truth hurts, I know.
