Ministry "Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed & the Way to Suck Eggs"
Voto:
Maybe you got confused with "work for love" (which I like anyway), for the discodance. "Twitch" is fiercely close to ebm. That's fine too. Now I'm getting on the mulo, because around here you can never find a damn thing by Al and the gang (when they're around).
Iron Maiden Virtual XI
Voto:
Well, come on, he kept his promises of brevity :D but korn/sofficino still has a lot to teach you, dear reviewer.
Immortal At Heart Of Winter

No, I preferred the extremist synthesis of your first version, Korn.
Cristina D'Avena Il Valzer Del Moscerino

ah! my beloved 80s!
Al Jarreau Look To The Rainbow
Voto:
I only have "l is for lover" from him, which in my opinion contains some nice moments. I imagine there's plenty to discover. If anyone feels like it... feel free to suggest. :)

heavy! but really nice. The thing that leaves me stunned, though, is that my sweet girlfriend listens to it calmly... like Tool. Better than me, almost. At this point, I have to try Ministry. Or should I go straight to one of Ege's albums? :)
Larry Levan Greatest Salsoul Mixes 78-85
Voto:
1-First of all, welcome back. Even though I just noticed it now (my computer was broken for months). 2-I can't say anything about how the system works, but regarding the fact that they generally play awful music in venues, well, my ears resonate with what you've stated. I also fondly remember a prolonged discussion that took place on the review of "vienna," involving mixing, venues, and synthrock. 3-Your suggestions continue to be very interesting. Half of the records I've bought in the last year are due to you, more or less directly. I hope you can return to write beautiful pages of new wave et similia. 4-Till next time, Ege.
Level 42 A Physical Presence

mmm, I thought there would be fewer fans! Bah, they're very enjoyable. I also have that collection mentioned above, I'm re-listening to and reevaluating several tracks, even though the tracklist probably has more pop than funk.
Depeche Mode Black Celebration
Voto:
however, the Flood mix of "a question of lust" is superior to the original. Less polished, more raw and electronic, with the industrial inserts more prominent. They could have pushed it even further.
Depeche Mode Exciter
Voto:
mmm, Enea, in my opinion, Exciter was made in a hurry. You can feel the absence of Wilder, not because of the sounds themselves, but for his ability to revolutionize the arrangements (Enjoy the Silence from slow with strings to what we know). And the setlist is poorly curated: with two or three "powerful" tracks like the ones heard in "Ultra," we would be discussing a different album. Who knows, maybe the next one will manage to combine the good that's here (cleaner and more experimental electronics, a search for new patterns) and what we saw in "Playing the Angel" (the rhythm and pathos of DM). In other words, what was more or less "Ultra," in my opinion.
