Ehm, the Cockney voice for me is that of Colin Newman, no kidding ;)

I agree with everything above. Three random tracks listened to from various similar hitlists (I can't even remember) definitely made me realize that I needed to take a DIFFERENT musical direction, and without granting the benefit of the doubt. But what is "charlie in levare"?

I'll search for something online; if it's true that the album grows on you after a few listens, I might end up liking it.

I think it's good, Ocasek is missed and if he knows him well, it's right that he writes about it. I don't think the friend is "afflicted" by "monoculture," he just wants to delve as deeply as possible into a topic he... knows. I do the same (in other contexts). Oh, and I’m also waiting for "heartbeat city" to vote for everything properly :)) not just me who likes it, eheheh ;)

Come on, "lost keys" is spot on, that guitar is one of the most beautiful moments of the album, and personally it reminds me of many things... I would rate the album around 3.5-4 for me.

It didn't take a genius to see Vallettopoli. Just look at (??) Gregoraci's face.

I don’t know, but I support Mike. Many records would be more... "shitty" if they could be found with a bit more ease, without necessarily going through the web at terrible prices. That said, a well-known drug (I can't remember if it's the pill or not) has a "Y" as a symbol that quite resembles these guys here :D
