A serious LONG-TERM study costs too much? Anyway, we may have accelerated, but we are in the midst of a climate shift, just like many that occurred centuries ago. So, the word LAMBRONECCA means, translated, "green place." The Verra glacier (see Monte Rosa, direction Champoluc-S. Jacques) is disappearing. Its moraine is precisely the Lambronecca, at 3032 m we find the Mezzalama refuge. Greenery is taking hold again, where just 15-20 years ago there were only stones, and just before that, even ice tongues. It will return, for centuries, to be the "green place" where cultivated vines were pushed by humans back in the Roman times and the Kramerthal. Rather, mankind must urgently think about not creating disturbances for its own actions and to prevent the moraines from crashing down on us disastrously. Because they will ;)
