The soundscapes created by The Edge are beautiful, but why does he reject even the slightest hint of virtuosity?? Okay, it’s his style... Not everyone has to play like Hendrix or Malmsteen, but the fact that he hasn’t done a single solo in decades of his career seems more like an obsession than anything else (it’s unthinkable that he doesn’t know how to play a solo, so it’s obvious that he doesn’t do them on purpose because he hates them, but a guitarist who hates solos is a bit like a Ferrari enthusiast who hates the color red... it’s at least bizarre...)

The U2... I never know whether to give them a 5 or a 2... beautiful songs, great lyrics, etc... but then you find yourself listening to these overly commercial techno-like tunes, and damn... in an entire discography of a rock band formed by the classic trio of guitar, bass, and drums, not finding a shred of a solo for that long makes you wonder if they’re really a rock band or not...

Don't you think that's excessive?? I agree about the falsettos, which can get annoying after a while, and for some riffs that are deliberately pilfered but that they don't know how to play, but that the album is absolutely awful? No way... The only one who deserves a 0 is you.
