Audioslave Out Of Exile
Voto:
I started listening to this CD with a bit of prejudice because many said that these Audioslave were quite ridiculous, just to keep it light. In reality, after listening to it many times, I have to say that I like this album. "Out of Exile," "Doesn't Remind Me," and "Man or Animal" are catchy, while the rest is still quite good. I agree with what was said in the review, especially because I always find it very silly to make comparisons with the past. And then it seems almost like criticizing these poor Audioslave has become a new sport, but honestly, what were they supposed to do? Retire?

Of Lacuna, I only have Comalies, an album that I really love; I'm listening to it so much that it’s going to become transparent!!.. I’m also preparing a review, but I don’t know if I’ll publish it since you’re more interested in the singer than in their music… the cover of this album is truly horrible! The review might be a bit too short.

Indeed, the reception wasn't the best. We were a bit heavy-handed with the criticism, but, and here I speak for myself, it wasn't my intention to be mean and I don’t enjoy spitting in everyone’s face, as you say. I simply think you could have included something more personal, emotional; even just a sentence would have been enough.

Edie Brickell and The New Bohemians Shooting Rubberbands At The Stars

Edie Brickell? Where have I heard that name before? Ah, right, back in 2002 they played a song on the radio that I really liked and I recorded it. I think it was "What I Am" because the lyrics went something like "what I am is what I am / are you what you what you are or what?"... I might just listen to it again! Great review, it made me want to learn more about this singer!

What a cold reception!.. It's already raining today and I'm feeling down, this makes me even sadder! Sorry to ask you, Sofia, but were you at that concert?

Yesterday, to those who love football, when asked "What music do you listen to?" Povia thought about it for a minute and then said, "National-pop music!" I don't think a comment is necessary!

Here, as you wanted to demonstrate... these people make an idiotic song and quickly end up on the charts, while more serious bands with more ideas and skills work their butts off and nobody knows them... the world is just strange... These guys are truly ridiculous, but how can someone at 20 reduce themselves like this?!! I also confirm what mary93 said; I accidentally stumbled upon their video, and they had faces like "I'm singing with my heart in my hands," and one of them was even wearing makeup!! How sad!

The song they brought to Sanremo had struck me. Unfortunately, I believe they won't get very far, partly because of the name (that 4 is awful, very boy band!) and partly because they come after the Negramaro. I'm afraid that many people, upon hearing them, might have said "oh no, these are copying the Negramaro," even though they really have nothing to do with them (I haven't heard the album, but this review has piqued my curiosity!). It's a real shame because in Italy, this type of band (like the others excluded from Sanremo, the Deasonika) could do a lot, but they always seem to remain a bit in the shadows.

Thank you, mc! Your review is also super fun!! Of course, even though the festival completely sucked this year, it already has three reviews!!...apparently it sparked discussion..but musically speaking, it was truly a festival to forget, maybe a few songs will be saved because they'll be played on the radio, the rest is already in the memory hole and has every right to be there!!
