I seem to have read that Sonic Youth, the Cure, or the Velvet Underground are "a group of incompetents skilled only in creating sweet melodies and sweet atmospheres or experiments that mask serious, serious, serious deficiencies" (matt7). I need to reread it better because it's not possible to have read such things… unless we're talking here with fans of Dream Theater?!

Well, they're certainly not lacking, quite the opposite (if only I could play like Portnoy!), but as I've said and repeated many times, theirs is just a self-indulgence, a way to elevate their undeniable technique to the umpteenth degree... that's it!
Then to say that metal is a faith, I can't understand what that means? So is punk a faith too? Dark?... In my opinion, it's just nonsense...
