I would like to add (having studied Methodology of Social Research) that often these polls are anything but neutral, in fact, let's say that the result is decided even before the launch of the poll itself! But even if that weren't the case, as easy pointed out, the sample considered almost never reflects, let's be honest, the absolute truth! Pollsters would require significant resources and money to interview a sample that reflects the reality of people's thoughts! With this, I don't mean to say that Portnoy is or isn't a great drummer, but Orion77's example doesn't hold up! Hi
