A beautiful collection, there’s no denying it, although I prefer original albums, unreleased (or studio recorded); I consider the latter more authentic than the others, perhaps because when they were made, Fabrizio was alive, while here we have compilations put together after his death.
Moreover, an album is like a book and the songs are like chapters that, when put together, form something concrete, while taking a chapter from various books (or albums) to create another is no longer as concrete, and the meaning becomes less clear. What I mean is that when Fabrizio was around, he was the one who categorized the songs based on an album, according to themes in order to create connections between them. (For example, "Anime Salve" generally touches on the theme of loneliness, "Non al denaro non all'amore nè al cielo" is the anthology of Spoon River, "Storia di un' impiegato" is a concept album, meaning it tells a single story, with the songs representing different stages of that story, etc...) In short, it doesn’t lose the thread of discourse.

It's a shame they didn't include "Il testamento" (which I consider a masterpiece).

However, regarding the songs, I believe they are wrong; the singers are usually left-wing, or rather, if they are left-wing, they tend to show it (May 1st, etc..). If they are right-wing, they usually don’t make it so obvious.
