John Zorn and Secret Chiefs 3 Xaphan: Book of Angels Vol. 9

Heroic endeavor, dear paloz! In fact, I've listened very little to the game pieces and contemporary classical music. More than anything, I confess that I listen to Masada (also Naked City and Filmworks, but less).
Luis Bunuel Il Fantasma Della Libertà (1974)
Voto:
Simply stunning film, I just rewatched it. Perhaps not Buñuel's best, but I still give it five stars.

As usual, a beautiful review. Muito e bello pure il gioco. If I had to choose the soundtrack for my broken heart, I think it would be "La chanson de Prevert" by Serge Gainsbourg (but also "Tangle up in blue" by Dylan).
Cyro Baptista Banquet of the Spirits
Voto:
Pleasant as well as encyclopedic review, dear Muito. Cyro Baptista is one of my favorite percussionists, and the collaborations with Zorn are indeed many. Speaking of another De Andrade (Mario, not Oswald), I recommend (if you don't know it) the stunning novel "Macunaíma."
Butthole Surfers Hairway to Steven

I have never explored this kind of surfing. Anyway, I think I should listen to this group; I like it from what I've heard.

Well done, jawbreaker, I don't know you but you really intrigue me.
Alan Lomax Italian Treasury: Folk Music and Song of Italy - A Sampler
Voto:
Well done, I had no idea that the good Lomax had passed through Italy and that he had even recorded there. In addition to Lomax, perhaps we should also remember Harry Smith among the great ethnomusicologists, compiler of that gem which is the Anthology of American Folk Music.
