Nick Drake Way to Blue
Voto:
A nice best-of that is a good introduction, I started out like that too, but maybe it's better to just buy the three albums straight away. An absolute genius this man, starting with the way he tuned his guitar, practically a different tuning for each song. The collection of unreleased tracks "Time of No Reply" is good too, I'm indulging in it right now, I just got it yesterday. One question for the extreme fans: are all the unreleased tracks found in "Time of No Reply" or are there others floating around in the other collections? I think Nick Drake doesn't bring on depression, he’s actually a resource. Every depressed person enjoys listening to someone more depressed than them, and probably Nick beats them all, he’s probably the most depressed man on the planet. I’d try not to mix him in any way with politics, it’s like mixing diamonds with manure.

I need to fill this gap, indeed, you have piqued my curiosity quite a bit.
Young People All At Once

The voice of the singer reminds me a lot of Byork (I don't know if you agree, in reality I've listened to Byork rather superficially). Good review as usual and thanks for the sempols!
Frank Zappa One Size Fits All

You’re right, Mr. Green, this one by Zappa is truly too beautiful. I join the ranks of Thank you, Frank!
Elio e le Storie Tese Del meglio del nostro meglio vol 1
Voto:
@surfer-canguro: but Frank Zappa is several kilometers above Elio as a musician; the absurd things for him were just not even half of his production, an ironic twist to essentially being the funny guy. The Elio do repeat themselves a bit too much, to be fair; they are fun, make no mistake, but if you say that Elio is the Italian Frank Zappa, it shows that you really don't understand a thing about Frank Zappa.

Really a great piece, and I have to say that you provide an appropriate review. The little initial discourse you make about the sea is funny and interesting.
Pulp This Is Hardcore
Voto:
Well done, Francis, you beat me to it. I was also planning to review this album, but you wrote a better piece than I could have. I remember those sad evenings while washing dishes to the rhythm of "I'm not Jesus but I have the same initials...". My favorite from Pulp, even more than "Different Class". In my personal opinion as an ignoramus, it’s one of the best things to come out of Britpop in the '90s.

Bravo Grass and long live Scandinavian jazz! (check out my take on Jan Johansson too, I even included the sempols). Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with this one, but I'll take note.
John Coltrane Giant Steps
Voto:
Well done, wanderer, this is truly a great record, hats off. Coltrane was influential, but I don’t understand why you say he was controversial. Anyway, good review.
