I'm really fond of this album, it's among my favorites by Costello. Good review.

it's highly likely I'm wrong about Alison too, I don't know where I read that information.

You're right, the Oswald in question is Oswald Mosley. However, in the "Dallas version" included in the Rhino reissue, the reference is to Lee Harvey Oswald of the Kennedy assassination (I believe many American Costello fans misunderstood the song in this sense). Thank you for the clarification, Panlio.

Dear Panlio, I agree with you that the review is rubbish and a collage of quotes. The information about less than zero and Alison's pregnancy seems to me that I found it in Tony Clayton-Len, "Elvis Costello, a biography," so if you disagree, feel free to write to him. I might be wrong, I wrote the review a long time ago and usually when I write reviews I'm drunk. I still believe it's true that there's a reference to the Kennedy assassination in less than zero.

I also think this album is quite boring; in my opinion, it's one of his least successful records.
U2 No Line On The Horizon
Voto:
it remains and continues to be crap music. obviously, I’m just envious of the groupies and the huge amounts of money they manage to make from crap. an alchemical process in its own way. "being the U2" oddly triggers an inexplicable mental association with the word "blowjobs." "greatly deserved" seems like a big word to me.

Very interesting proposal, I knew nothing about it...
Clint Eastwood Gran Torino
Voto:
I want to emphasize that I didn't really enjoy this film, despite the good acting and the undeniable charm of Clint. The plot is a mishmash of stereotypes and clichés. If there had been an average actor in the lead role instead of Eastwood, the film would have been a complete disaster. We are quite far from Unforgiven, which was a good movie.
Clint Eastwood Gran Torino

To be honest, I was disappointed; it seemed a bit too pretentious to me (especially at the end, a bit predictable). Clint Eastwood, it must be said, has aged really well, maybe even better than Sean Connery.

I don't know, I think this album is something for those who love the tearful mannerism. I’ve been through that phase too, it was once among my favorite records. I listened to it again not long ago and it struck me as false & annoying. Let's just say it's not of poor quality, but in the end, this album is overrated.
