I basically agree with the refinement of Venuti; I've heard great things about his old band, the Denovo. I’ll have to give them a listen.

Look, Vivis, if half votes had existed, I would have given it a 3.5. It's just that I didn't want to be too generous, because I think this album could have been better. As I already mentioned, the first 5 tracks are electrifying, but after that, apart from the beautiful "Return to Oz," the album becomes dull. I didn't like the idea of turning a project that initially seemed much more varied into a dance one. However, in any case, the judgment is positive, and I believe the new album coming soon could be better than this.

Look, Mopaga might deserve a listen, or at least the tracks I've mentioned. My judgment is still biased because, let's say, dance music doesn't drive me crazy. However, the critics have expressed enthusiastic reviews about this album (I remember Rolling Stone gave it 5 stars). It will surely captivate fans of the more frenzied dance scene (even if there are folk and rock elements present). Bye.

I can't stand Guccini. I tried to listen to something, but it's stronger than me. Bye

Unfortunately, I don't know the songs you've mentioned because I just can't get into Guccini (I guess it's just me). Vecchioni is a great artist that I should get to know better, and I only know Camerini from "Rock n roll robot," but I know there's so much more. Hi and thanks for the tips!

These days I was actually thinking about reviewing this album... I saved myself some "effort" also because I almost agree with everything that has been written. I would give a special mention to "Cantautore," which I believe is a splendid piece; I think no one in the realm of Italian music has managed to celebrate the figure of the singer-songwriter in such an ironic and heartfelt way. However, I must say that "Burattino senza fili" remains unmatched for me.
