Cool Oras, I find your description of nu metal in this review frankly a bit too "rap-centric." I would have preferred if EarlGrey had remained uncertain before you wrote it. Let me give you an example: the Queens Of The Stone Age were once also referred to as nu metal.

One of De Filippi's henchmen reviewing Pink Floyd? Ah SexyTeen, in the review of the Backstreet Boys you said they're a useless metalhead... I, on the other hand, would consider myself a pretty useful METAL RAPPER.

Ah, it seemed to me. In fact, by the way he talks and thinks, he has holes in his pockets, and not just those.

In my opinion, the fact that Audioslave was formed must be a way for Morello and the others to move away from rap metal. The only differences are in the band's name and the fact that De La Rocha, who is only good at rapping, is not there.

Mike Shinoda of LP will go down in history (double meaning?) for the most annoying rapping in music history, a pearl of self-referentiality and sycophancy towards alternative hip hop:
"Watch as the room rocks
Mentally moon walk
Mixed media slang
Banging in your boom box
Verbal violence
Lyrical stylist
In a time when rock hip hop rhymes are childish
You can't tempt me with rhymes that are empty
Rapping to a beat doesn't make you an emcee
With your lack of skill and facility
You're killing me
And a DJ in the group just for credibility..." (from "Step Up")
