Mike Oldfield is one of the few musicians "compatible" with my wife. In other words, someone we can listen to together. Musical tastes are so varied that differences come to the forefront. I'm afraid Amarok might disturb this balance. But I'm curious. Thanks for the recommendation.

Well done, very well done Grasshopper. John Lewis and the MJQ have had a significant impact on my passion for jazz, and your review does justice to their art. They managed to blend “America and Europe” as well as “classical and jazz.” Detractors labeled it as “chamber jazz.” In reality, it's blues and swing distilled even into a single note. Subsequent events proved John Lewis right. The detractors were forgettable and indeed have been forgotten. Instead, they remain in history as classics. Thank you again. I wish I could have written this tribute myself.

Well done, excellent job for this insightful and descriptive review. Behind every group, there is always an intelligent and patient leader. Simon Jeffes reminds me, in these times, of the skill (and patience) of Laudersdale (or a surname that sounds more or less like that) from the Pink Martimi. Clever reinterpretors. Thank you again for recalling this musical experience.

I arrive here from Labradford. I'm also curious about this. From "calm mood, clouded mind (possibly from psychoactive substances), relaxed limbs, absolute darkness," I would leave out only the words "(possibly from psychoactive substances)": I prefer post-coital relaxation. Thank you for your suggestions.

Perhaps due to generational reasons, I absolutely didn't understand the phrase "Difficile pensare una colonna sonora migliore per un acido nel grand canyon," however, I really enjoyed the review and it makes me want to immediately search for the album. The piece I like the most by Labradford is "Midrance" from "Labradford" in 1996. Thank you.

I didn’t want to torment you. You know I know that time is the greatest resource we have. And music is truly a great way to make the most of it. It was still a great opportunity to say goodbye.
