Stewart Copeland Strange Things Happen - La mia vita con i Police , il polo e i pigmei
Voto:
Good review, but I doubt the book will interest me.
Il Balletto di Bronzo Ys
Voto:
This album leaves me a bit cold, especially because of Leone's voice, although I do appreciate his remarkable skill on the keyboards. The lyrics made me feel "like I was shitting in my hands" (I found them quite unsettling). More than YS, I appreciate the single "La tua casa comoda/Donna Vittoria."
Franco Battiato Apriti Sesamo
Voto:
I've only heard some samples, which I liked nonetheless. I think the Battiato-Sgalambro duo has been in a slump for several years, far from the peaks of the late '90s, but they still manage to produce some interesting tracks. The cover is mediocre; I hope the content is better. I still rate the album, because that solid 1 is fitting for Paolo Meneguzzi, Gigi D'Alessio, Povia, or Justin Bieber, but in a review of Battiato, it just can't be seen.
Mark Knopfler Privateering

I agree with the excellent Jurix. However, I want to give a vote of confidence.
Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same

Great review, showing attention and passion. However, when I read "Plant was a really smart person," I touched my jewels.
Eric Hobsbawm The Age of Extremes: The Short Twentieth Century, 1914–1991 (Il Secolo Breve)

A fundamental text. One of my professors, at the university, used to quote it often.

A dream, a vow with eyes closed.
Eros Ramazzotti Tutte Storie
Voto:
Among Eros Ramazzotti's albums, the least bad one, although thanks to the arrangers and musicians involved, certainly not him. It was the first CD purchased by my sister (it won the run-off against "Non è la Rai Strenna") and for me, it became the soundtrack of a missed hookup in Athens, in the room of a Serbian girl.
Ciementificio Marcia marcia

They seem like idiots.
Brad Mehldau Trio Where Do You Start

Unlike JDV666, I’m getting back into jazz, thanks in part to my companion. I came across this musician because of his similarities with Keith Jarrett, and he’s on my list of "artists to listen to as soon as possible."
