Alberto Fortis La grande grotta
Voto:
Of this album, I only know the beautiful "Settembre."

Great review, as always.
Enrico Ruggeri Amore e guerra

A pleasant and well-crafted album. And that's no small feat.
Toto The Seventh One

Good quality pop that, however, doesn’t excite me.

I have it and I consider it one of the best collections of texts, due to the presence of those brief introductions to each piece. Overall, I liked the review, but "Strawberry Fields" and "Penny Lane" are not in "Pepper."
Blur Modern Life Is Rubbish
Voto:
After "Parklife" and "Blur," it's my favorite, especially "Oily Water" and "Blue Jeans." I'm very intrigued by "Miss America" (a very Barrett-esque piece, it feels like a narcoleptic "Terrapin"). And then I really like "Resigned," a track that I find both minimal (with sparse lyrics and simple music) and epic (due to the instrumental outro, with those effects layering over the base).

I love them very much, but for a while now I’ve been listening to them one song at a time.

An excellent debut, in which I found nothing superfluous. I really love "Talk about the Passion" and "Perfect Circle". The CD also includes, as a bonus track, an acoustic cover of "There She Goes Again" by the Velvet Underground that revitalizes a rather overlooked track from the Banana album.
John Fante Full Of Life
Voto:
So far I've read "Wait for Spring, Bandini!" and "Ask the Dust," on the recommendation of a dear friend who loves JF very much. I also have "The Brotherhood of the Grape," which has been waiting to be read for a long time. I'm sorry you were disappointed; I join others in suggesting that you give Fante at least one more chance.
Piero Scaruffi Una Storia della Musica Rock
Voto:
A classic book to read at Feltrinelli. I've read some of Scaruffi's work online; I find it interesting, although it seems to me that he often has a short arm when it comes to his evaluations. As someone rightly said, he should be taken for what he is: a music critic. I give a score of 5 to the review for giving literary dignity to a drink unjustly rejected.
