I Calipop "Restiamo ancora insieme" (Jagger – Richards – Lo Bianco) / "Dove credi di andare" (Endrigo)
Voto:
This name sounds new to me as well. I haven't heard the album, but I believe it is emblematic of the characteristics of many "minor" beat groups (but also of big names like Dik Dik or l'Equipe 84): watered-down foreign covers and interpretations of tracks by local authors. I'm intrigued by their version of the piece by Endrigo.
U2 The Joshua Tree

I believe it still remains their best work. I appreciated the fact that the song titles were alluded to without being directly quoted.

One shouldn't judge an album by its cover, but this one seems quite indicative of the tone of the album.
Al Lover Neuicide!
Voto:
Who knows what would have happened if the 45-year-old new age woman had received Al Lover's disc.
Henri-Georges Clouzot Les diaboliques (I diabolici)
Voto:
Years ago, I saw the bland remake with Sharon Stone and Isabelle Adjani. I don't have a great memory of it, and Clouzot's original has been recommended to me by many. Over the years, I've been delving deeply into the thriller genre in general, and I think I will be watching this film soon.
Frank Sinatra Cycles

A concise but good review. I also know what is commonly referred to as "the essentials" of Sinatra. This introspective and melancholic work intrigues me.
Mina & Adriano Celentano Le migliori
Voto:
I read carefully. I appreciated Mina and Celentano for their work and their repertoire from the '60s and '70s, which today's half-baked figures can only dream of. From the "paperi" album, I remember "Acqua e sale," enjoyable but a forgettable display of craft and personality. This album, honestly, doesn't attract me much. Better the Baustelle, in my opinion currently the best Italian band.
Mick Jackson Threads/Ipotesi di sopravvivenza.
Voto:
It is available on YouTube, with Italian subtitles (and there's also The Day After). To better process it, I suggest not watching it all at once.
Take That Nobody Else
Voto:
Slightly less immature than the previous ones, but still forgettable. In any case, compared to all the boybands that came after (ridiculous both for their image and for their "musical" proposals), the TT were giants.

Years ago, I read a very detailed review of a book dedicated to American rock from the '80s. However, I only had the courage to listen to two songs from it ("Ice Cream" and the final one, whose title I can't remember).
