Mike Oldfield Crises
Voto:
In '83 I was only eight years old, and "Moonlight Shadow" was a delightful "earworm"; I only listened to the record a few years later at my best friend's house, whose older brother was our musical database, amid games of Risiko and candy feasts. The suite seemed rather shapeless to me, while the songs were very pleasant (And then Maggie Reilly was an angel). However, I never delved into Oldfield.
Queen A Kind of Magic
Voto:
A typical Queen album from the '80s, that is, pompous and empty. In "Who Wants to Live Forever," Joe Sandalo did it justice.
Billy Joel Just The Way You Are
Voto:
Great classic of a good pop craftsman.
The Beatles Please Please Me
Voto:
The weakest album of their production, although it's easily accessible and pleasant to listen to. As mentioned on other occasions, when thinking about that period (1962-1963), I prefer Hank Marvin and the Shadows.

Review with too many exclamation marks, for an album that is an ideal deterrent to listening to Genesis.
Annie Lennox Diva
Voto:
I agree with Barracuda Blue. I prefer it in a duo with Stewart.
Sigur Ròs Brennisteinn (EP)
Voto:
Unconventional and interesting work by Sigur Rós. However, my favorite remains Agaetis etc.
The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground & Nico
Voto:
I give a 1 to the current layout. A rather school-like review, yet welcome nonetheless. As for the album, I find it perfect up to "I'll be your mirror," while the two experimental pieces seem a bit, so to speak, deflated to me.
Fairport Convention In Real Time: Live '87
Voto:
Great review. Unfortunately, I don't know them well.

Interesting report, I have never heard of these before... I was drawn in by the Teutonic name and title.
