Shakira She wolf
Voto:
I only heard the title track; a shapeless jumble of sounds (though slightly less annoying than that piece with the fanfares that was all the rage in 2006). I wonder why people with high IQs and not-bad voices churn out this stuff for the simple-minded, basing everything on the exposure of their commendable nudity... Maybe, watching the "She Wolf" video with the sound off and playing "Trans Europe Express" in the background, I could convince myself...

I appreciate the dedication and enthusiasm, the album -unfortunately- much less.

What have I missed... I only know Kashmir!
Samuele Bersani Manifesto Abusivo

Well... Having said that I haven't listened to the album yet, I don't understand why there is so much distress over a "cultured" drift, which is certainly far preferable to the dumbing down, more or less severe, of the artists you mentioned or to the p(i)attume that's served to us on silver platters by peers of Bersani or by younger colleagues (with commendable exceptions). Perhaps it's a less accessible and immediate work and, on the other hand, an artist who is no longer a beginner should feel the need to evolve... Then we can discuss the outcomes. In any case, for the fact that he is not sycophantic and does not rest on the past, Bersani would deserve a medal of honor, in a context where, if there were an Anti-Sophistication Unit for record productions, the shelves of stores would be half-empty.
Robert Rodriguez Dal Tramonto All'Alba

It has all themakings of a cult classic: a delirious plot, seemingly miscast actors (George Clooney, Salma Hayek); if it’s also poorly made, I’d say “Bingo”!
Dino Risi Il Commissario Lo Gatto

Years ago, I saw it and it was a genuine surprise... Surely one of Banfi's best performances, proving he can be convincing even when he steps away from the tones of light comedy (but I fondly remember him as a prison warden with a scary comb-over and Puglian accent in "Detenuto in attesa di giudizio," by Nanni Loy with Alberto Sordi). The supporting actors were excellent, especially Maurizio Micheli. I also fondly recall (but for different reasons) Isabel Russinova and Licinia Lentini.

My God... At least, unlike traditional sleeping pills, it shouldn't be addictive or have side effects :o)

I quote comment 33. For years I’ve promised myself to see it, but I always have Full Metal Jacket uber alles on my mind.

Nice name for the group. As for the review - read out of pure curiosity - even though it's well written, I didn't understand a thing.
Giuseppe Tornatore Baarìa

I was only slightly inclined to see him after Enbar's review, and now I have even less desire... with all due respect to Tornatore, who knows how to make films, I care about my "cabasisi."
