Comment no. 100. I greatly appreciated your mission of resuscitating authors and popular works unjustly fallen into oblivion, but here we are at the apologia of Nothingness. I have already said that, among all the Sanremo winners, Scanu is the most bland (he lacks the charisma of Mino Vergnaghi) and furthermore he seems to be the Sardinian version of Malgioglio (from whom, however, he lacks virility).

Marco Giusti, in his essential Dictionary of Cult Italian Films, describes it as a monumental flop, but also boring. I am intrigued by the presence of Eros Pagni (fantastic in the episode "Autostop" from the film "I nuovi mostri"), and there’s also Francesco Guccini.

Beyond certain questionable professional choices, Rouge remains a quality author and performer, even if the best of his work dates back to previous decades. Probably, for his resume, he is the best artist present at Sanremo.
