Mauro Pelosi La stagione per morire

"what the fuck am I doing here what am I doing here" (The season to die). It seems to me that he was the first to use the word "fuck" in a song. Sorry if that's not a big deal.

Cappio, you beat me to it :-) This will mean that sooner or later I'll review the following ones, even if I don't like them as much as this one. I didn't imagine this album was a concept, even though the songs have an evident common thread. I'm fond of Mauro Pelosi for a number of reasons: he believed a lot in what he was doing, to the point that to make ends meet he did a thousand jobs, including selling necklaces, considering the disappointing and undeserved failure of his works; moreover, on his website, he says he continues to make music "for friends." I also believe he is the only singer-songwriter to have stated (in an interview on "Ciao 2001" from '72 or '73) that he draws inspiration from Claudio Lolli. As for the album, I like it for the originality of the lyrics and the musical solutions, which are very much played on the acoustic-orchestral side, with incursions into prog (the concluding "Suicidio"). The credits feature a very young Gianni Leone ("Balletto di Bronzo") on keyboards, along with other figures from the Italian prog scene whose names I can't recall at the moment. In short, I believe Pelosi is part of the select group of singer-songwriters who, despite the validity and originality of their proposals, have received much less than they deserved, also due to their own limitations (for Pelosi, I think it was difficulties in relating to record producers, who wanted something else from him).

"FF.SS". From being a cult, it just seemed to me like a 2-hour mess around.
