U2 Songs Of Innocence
Voto:
I've never particularly loved U2, despite owning a good portion of their work up to "Zooropa." From what little I've heard, this album doesn't seem to deviate from the mediocre and pompous craft that characterizes their productions of the last few decades, in which I struggle to find a memorable song. A gift I'd gladly do without, unless they pay me handsomely.
Gleemen Oltre... lontano, lontano
Voto:
I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Bambi Fossati, probably the best Italian epigone of Hendrix (I really enjoyed the albums by Garybaldi). I look with interest at these musical proposals, which testify to the vitality and the "desire to be there" of figures who shaped the history of Italian rock in the '70s. The vote is based on trust, and on Bambi Fossati's career.
Black Sabbath Paranoid
Voto:
I’m not bothered by reviews of albums that are already out there, as long as they bring something new or some personal insight (especially if they are from the time). The album is a "millstone milestone," although I prefer "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath."
Chick Corea Light Years
Voto:
Sometimes it would be wise to reread the reviews before submitting them: there are a few too many typos, conceptual errors, and repetitions here. I won't comment on the album, but I found the subsequent "Eye Of The Beholder" enjoyable.
Alice Alice canta Battiato
Voto:
Loving the production of the award-winning Battiato-Pio company, it comes naturally for me to appreciate this album, which includes not only covers. I confess that I don't know much about Alice's discography (especially her more recent work).
Leonard Cohen Songs of Love and Hate
Voto:
A masterpiece, to be listened to with headphones for the best appreciation.

I had the audio cassette with the soundtrack. A "must" for anyone who had a tape player.
Oasis Listen Up
Voto:
I don't mind the early Oasis, and I think this track deserves at least a listen.

Having read several reviews by the author, I was hoping for a methodical and caustic demolition of the film in question, one of many that recycles television faces and old ideas (in this case, the excellent film by Risi). I was a bit disappointed, but there’s probably very little to demolish: Littizzetto hasn't said anything funny or intelligent for years, and De Luigi is inconsistent. Fifty years from now, people will still remember Sordi and Valeri, while these figures will have faded into oblivion. Thumbs down.
Martin Scorsese Il colore dei soldi
Voto:
Among the many Scorsese films I haven't seen, I admit that the presence of Tom Cruise does not represent an incentive for me to fill this gap. I remember that back in the day, there was a lot of praise for Paul Newman's performance.
