From a distance, I prefer it too to "The Madcap Laughs." A more structured album, with great production work by Gilmour and Wright, and excellent songs (not just "Baby Lemonade" and "The Gigolo Aunt" and "Dominoes," but also "Wined And Dined" and "Wolfpack"). The only track that seems to go nowhere is perhaps the monotonous "It Is Obvious."

Little known outside the Albion borders... What a pity.
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here

Perhaps not the best, but technically the most successful. In my opinion, the second part of "Shine On" is underrated, ending with a touching solo by Rick Wright. Perhaps the best tribute to Syd.

"Echoes" and "One of These Days" are monumental, but "A Pillow Of Winds" and "Fearless" show that the Waters-Gilmour duo worked perfectly, with a marvelous balance of music-lyrics-interpretation. "San Tropez" is a bit of a light track, while "Seamus" is a charming divertissement (I believe Gilmour hated it, but it would be played, with a little dog in tow, in Pompeii, under the title "Mademoiselle Nobs"). Speaking of "One Of These Days," the fateful phrase is uttered by Nick Mason, not Roger Waters.
Cesare Cremonini 1999-2010 The Greatest Hits
Voto:
I’m convinced that there’s a typo in the album title; you may find it! I recognize that Cremonini has a certain flair for melody, but as a lyricist and performer, I find him mediocre. Adding to the grim prognosis are a congenital dislike and the collaboration with Jovanotti, which constitutes a further added value.

Great album, reviews to polish and refine. But congratulations on the enthusiasm!

A milestone, featuring at least four masterpieces (the tracks mentioned by Hardrock92, plus Like a Rolling Stone and Desolation Row). However, I prefer the subsequent "Blonde on Blonde."

Black in summer is heavy... better a rosé.
John Lennon John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band
Voto:
A rather inaccurate review, but written with passion. The album is very important from a historical and musical perspective. It is improper and unfair to compare it with the previous ones, with which it has almost nothing in common. "Mother," "Love," and "God" are great songs.

I add: there is nothing superfluous in this film.
