Satoru Nakajima (????) (Okazaki, February 23, 1953) is a former Japanese Formula 1 driver. He was the first Japanese driver to compete consistently in the Formula 1 World Championship. Prior to him, Japanese drivers typically participated only in the home race.
Career [edit]
After a long career in lower formulas and five Japanese Formula 2 driver titles, Nakajima made his Formula 1 debut in 1987, becoming Ayrton Senna's teammate at Lotus-Honda, thanks to the support of the Japanese automobile manufacturer. In his debut season, the Japanese driver achieved some points finishes, with a fourth place as his best result, despite being significantly slower than his teammate. He also became the first driver to consistently race a car equipped with a camera-car.
The 1988 season saw him as Nelson Piquet's teammate at Lotus-Honda: the season was less fruitful than the previous one due to the car's reduced competitiveness, as evidenced by some missed qualifications. Honda left Lotus at the end of the season, but Nakajima remained with the team due to the support of his sponsors, including Epson. In his third and final year with the British team, racing with a Judd engine, some missed qualifications were offset by the best result of Satoru's career, achieved in the last race in Australia. After a very tough race in the rain, the Japanese driver finished fourth and set the fastest lap of the race.
Towards the end of that season, Tyrrell signed an agreement with Honda to provide the ex-McLaren V10 engines starting in 1991, and Nakajima joined the "woodcutter's" team as early as 1990, when the engines were still Ford Cosworth. Partnering with Jean Alesi, Nakajima managed to secure some points finishes; particularly noteworthy was his sixth place in front of the home crowd at the Japanese Grand Prix. In 1991, his Tyrrell-Honda teammate was Stefano Modena; however, the car proved to be less competitive than expected, and the Japanese driver only scored points in the first race. During the German Grand Prix, he announced his intention to retire at the end of the 1991 season.
His son Kazuki is also a racing driver, active in Formula 1 with Williams in 2008 and 2009.

I’m very worried that there’s an entire catalog of unreleased Michael Jackson material. If the ones we have are already terrible, I seriously doubt that the remaining ones are any better.
