Wow, I completely agree with Violator 98!!! No offense to Neil Young fans (whom I adore too), but frankly for me the extraordinary tracks on this album are: The Lee Shore; Laughing; Triad; Right Between The Eyes; King Midas In Reverse; Ohio; Don't Let It Bring You Down; Chicago; On The Way Home... more or less in order...

Dear AntonioDeste, I was looking for a Bruford, on drums for Genesis :)... thank you Copernico, I will look for it :)...

...opinions are opinions... frankly, we risked being a bit "undemocratic," I really liked "His" reaction which showed "cool-headedness" and good manners, and I truly appreciate this...

I fully agree... it's a pity I can't forgive the '80s, and myself...

Let's clarify... I had understood that you were talking about a sunset, which in a way did happen, about the greatness of CSN... I adore Neil Young, but I find him less integrated, so I prefer him solo :)... the well-being for all has "damnably" dulled and homogenized us... but I wouldn't want to be misunderstood, far be it from me to talk about politics; however, it could only be about "utopia," as the world economic organization is based on "class difference," without which our society, as we know it, wouldn't exist...

Dear Surfer, the thing that hurts me the most is that I am one of these... a teenager in the '80s, a Peter Pan syndrome in the '90s... two decades ā€œburned outā€ from any claims to social issues... the '80s, the era of the ā€œpaninariā€ and the ā€œyuppiesā€ oh my, how pitiful... I saved myself back then, just because I was a metalhead, otherwise I would have ended up as a ā€œpaninaroā€ too... generations raised without ā€œpoliticsā€ regardless of personal orientations...

4, because I don't agree with the idea that the star was fading, as you know I love the album "CSN"... for the rest, I find the historical context of the album very interesting... frankly, I find the acoustic part more dramatic and closer to my sensibility... the whole album is a masterpiece, but once again, I feel that dear Neil is too "individualistic", his contribution sometimes feels slightly "alien" to the sound of the three CSN... an era was ending, the utopian dream of a fairer society was setting... the coils of capitalism were bourgeoisifying the West, rendering us blind enough to eliminate any spirit of true dissent for nearly 30 years…

From 5, there's no denying... perfect execution... perfect atmosphere... perfect compositions... can anyone recommend a bootleg with Bruford on drums? Thanks...

Genesis A trick of the tail

A bit late, I'll share my thoughts: it’s a fantastic album, with amazing atmospheres and melodies... okay, it’s sung by Collins, but that’s precisely the greatness of it, as Collins is not Gabriel and yet... sure, if we had to rate it on a scale of 10 (even though proportionally it would be the same), it might seem easier to give 10 to "Selling..." and maybe 8 to "A trick of the tail"... from this point on, it’s a downward curve, but rather than not having them, I thank Genesis for composing the two "And Then There Were Three" and "Duke", because despite everything, I loved them. Sure, they might be a 3, but come on, a 3 isn’t too bad :)...
