The speech could be very simple, enjoy both "singer," like I do :)...

no one reviews them because they are now "forgotten" except for a hardcore group of die-hard fans, all people who loved them at the same time, that is in the 80s...

"The Razors Edge" is a good album...

Meanwhile, my position is generic and not exclusive to Vannelli... I will listen carefully to these Vannelli albums, and maybe I will discover that specifically the singing is (was essential); I must overcome the impression that the singing leads everything toward a classy "dance," but still a "dance." I prefer a more jazzed "fusion," and it seems to me that this is more possible in the purely musical tracks... there are other genres for which singing is fundamental (always personal opinion), and they range from Rock to singer-songwriter music (both Italian and foreign)... another example, I adore Chick Corea, the one from the album "Friends," just to be clear, but when I come across those sung albums of his, with those mellifluous female voices, well, I find them utterly boring...

just think of the entire album "Back in Black" and various subsequent tracks like: For Those About To Rock; Breaking The Rules; Spellbound; Thunderstruck; The Razors Edge; Are You Ready; Two's Up; Hard As A Rock; Furor; Whiskey On The Rocks... to understand that AC/DC have produced fantastic songs, and they can't live for 20 years in the shadow of the truly great Scott... I also add that for Scott the powerful voice was a gift, for Brian it was not, and for this reason, I appreciate him so much...

AntonioDeste, your perspective is very interesting; it deserves a thoughtful and not hasty response. I promise to write it later today...

The comparison between Bon Scott and Brian Johnson always comes up, but I don't think that's the case here... looking exclusively at this album, it's filled with fantastic tracks, written in the post-Bon Scott era, so the album has its own value that transcends the Scott era... I loved this Live record very much, even though back then it was clear that Brian's vocal decline was already noticeable, as he practically sacrificed his vocal cords for AC/DC...

If I didn't fear sounding "controversial," I would reply: is it really my fault that Fusion has ended up in a dead end? ... but since I don't want to seem controversial, I wish you a very nice day :)...

My consideration is simple and stems from a personal preference; sometimes I prefer music to be pure, I don't always feel the need for vocals... I don't know what you mean by "waiting room music"... you talk about "cause" as if you meant "blame," but I have my tastes, and I have no "blame"... if I misunderstood, I apologize for the misunderstanding...
