Truly a must-have this live album, recorded during the massive world tour of Razors Edge (1990-1991).
Also excellent is the double version (LIVE Collector's Edition), with 9 more songs. A long intro leads us to the electrifying "Thunderstruck" (even better than the studio version), followed by the fabulous "Shoot To Thrill" (overwhelming) and "Back In Black". The lengthy "The Jack" where Bryan interacts with the audience, epic and solemn "Hells Bells", a great prelude to the powerful "Dirty Deeds..."; after the frenzied "Whole Lotta Rosie", immediately followed by "You Shook Me All Night Long", comes the turn of two super-classics like "Highway To Hell" and "T. N. T.". The unavoidable "For Those About To Rock" closes the work.
In the "long" version, worth mentioning are the pumped up -and lengthy- "High Voltage", "Sin City" and the fun "Fire Your Guns" and "That's The Way I Wanna Rock'n'Roll". It is a fundamental live, which perfectly encapsulates the band's history and reveals, more than the previous 'IF YOU WANT BLOOD', the absolute value of Ac/Dc's live performance. "LIVE" should be owned not only by fans of the band, but also by lovers of Hard Rock or Rock in general. Besides the perfectly chosen setlist, the recording (great mix of clarity, depth of sound and audience presence) and a grand production (B. Fairbairn) make "LIVE" a live-album to which few others can be compared.
This double live album by AC/DC is an excellent healthy remedy (and actually also economical) against the crisis.
This manifesto, perhaps one of the last, of how real live rock music is done.
