kosmogabri came to Catania last year, I got the date of the concert wrong and didn't go (I still regret it to this day)... but the testimonies from those who were there are unanimous in describing her and her band as something exceptional live...

Well... who knows what the hell I had read Fiumani... sorry... anyway Sanjuro, the lyrics are not pure poetry, but they are eclectic, and compared to what you generally hear, they are pure gold. Then it’s a matter of style. Of course, if you compare them to people who are poets before being musicians, that's another story... but Marlene don’t pretend to be making poetry; at most they "pretend" to do it... as they themselves say... and they shouldn't be judged by this. As noise-rock, this album is really solid, and seen live, they are even more convincing for sure... if you seek academic perfectionism, listen to something else... these guys should be taken in a different way... even if it’s true that over time they have messed up quite a bit.

a beautiful album that deserved a far better review. You started off well, got a bit lost, and completely collapsed when you called the marvelous "nuotando nell'aria" the most beautiful song ever in Italian music.

The GYBE! are an exceptional group, but too maximalist for my tastes... certainly magnificent, but I prefer more intimate things... the Silver Mt Zion are already much more introspective...
