I wouldn't have read the review if I hadn't noticed the phrase "Can the most tropical of rock genres (reggae)" on the homepage. The conception of dividing genres may be subjective, but reggae has totally different and separate roots from rock. That there have been mutual influences is another story. Anyway, I share the dissent; contemporary reggae has become a trend for rebellious youth (who want to feel that way, indeed)... it bores me—it’s of a deadly tedium. Aside from a few standout groups, the rest is always the same old reheated stuff, with no novelty whatsoever.

Really nice review... and now that I've more or less listened to it, I must say... great album.

Not a 5-star album, but definitely the most beautiful by Pearl Jam... "Given to Fly" is so much fun to play with my band...

Well, maybe my comment was a bit justifying too; the review is well done, but too many praises for a group that, as much as I like them, I don't think has been revolutionary, but rather found themselves within an already ongoing revolution. Anyway, a great group indeed...

"Never has a rock trio reached such peaks of sound experimentation"... are we kidding?? Aside from I Could Live In Hope... they haven't really experimented that much... very talented, I agree, but they haven't managed to innovate, that's an exaggeration.

By principle, I have never listened to the GH...rather, I create a playlist with my journey through the discography...then an album that presents itself with a cover like that!!!! Anyway, great Cure, I still have the three and a half hours of the concert in Taormina etched in my memory.
