If you try to listen to Drukqs again, you'll see that it's not so bad; in fact, for me, the unbeatable Aphex is precisely in Drukqs and, of course, in Windowlicker. The early productions have less abstract, more raw sounds, and it's definitely a huge quality album, but Drukqs is the apotheosis of Aphex's musical journey. For me, it's a holographic projection of myself in another world; when I listen to it, everything around me changes...
