Well, they may have made history, but I don't believe that Aphex Twin is inspired by Pink Floyd. I mean, he has always had clear ideas about music; perhaps he is more inspired by Morricone, who along with Brian Eno revolutionized the '70s. Furthermore, I don't think he cares much about Kraftwerk, who are also anachronistic both now and in the '70s and '80s.
