I haven't read the comments, but in my opinion, as a big fan of Oasis, this is their most Britpop album. Compared to "What's the Story" which has "Hello," "Roll with It," "Morning Glory" as rock songs, it's more harmonious or what you might call indie, anticipating by 5 years the trend of current English bands with "Who Feels Love." Then there are 2 rock tracks: "I Can See a Liar" and "Put Your Money...!!!" If you like the rock of Oasis, listen to "Be Here Now," which is more aggressive, punky, and chaotic. "Fade In-Out" and "I Hope I Think I Know" are beautiful. If you like this album and can't understand why everyone hates it, but you do, well, forget them because others are just following the trend of "Wonderwall" and don't understand much about music. This is a great album!!! Bye.

it's not their best cd so you were wrong to call it a masterpiece, plus your comparison with pure rock I would have made more with Be Here Now where there are really no brit-pop tracks. I admire that you feel good music but your reviews are always the same... all in all, you're a fan!! What I prefer the most is "Standing on The Shoulders Of Giants" which is the most brit-pop, if you see the last one is practically an acoustic album...
