Anyway, you seem to have improved a lot since the early reviews.
The Velvet Underground White Light/White Heat

Oh, oh what a distraction! You are absolutely right, it's six tracks not eight! If you happen to see it, please correct it (and thanks again for fulfilling my request yesterday! It wasn't all that important. Thank you!)

He he, nice, huh?!
Muse Origin Of Symmetry

Even the best things on this album bore you after the second/third listen. Truly inconsistent.

Ah Ah Ah Ah, you're not kidding either Cliff (I just reread the review of Images and Words, you understand) :)))

for MV: Frankly, I also find the first two albums mediocre. Perhaps the first has some interesting insights, but all three seem quite similar to me, fundamentally without substantial differences; I continue to assert that Bellamy's voice is ABSOLUTELY anonymous; after Yorke, Chino Moreno of Deftones, Yorke's brother, and a handful of other depressing bands with the same sound, I really don't see what makes Bellamy even remotely noteworthy; third, I continue to assert that his guitar has NOTHING particularly original about it: after a whole generation of nu-metal bands, after Radiohead, after noise artists like NIN, Bellamy's guitar sounds like a succession of quotes from those aforementioned bands (and much more); fourth, I saw them live at the Heineken Jammin' festival, and I was mortally bored: 1) they have a ton of pre-recorded tracks. 2) they are not particularly different from the album. 3) there are hundreds of bands out there that are significantly more interesting (and better) than them live; a few examples: Tortoise, Mogwai, Interpol, Arab Strap, Einstürzende Neubauten, The Rapture. As for the statement "they suck," you're right, as many have pointed out, I was mistaken, I wasn't objective, etc. I apologize, but it was only my second review. In the future, I'll avoid that.

I also prefer shorter reviews.. But Nick, what can you do, as soon as I read it I immediately went to look for this "Red Line"..

He He He, really nice the bluff. "Better a dead man in the house than a pisano at the door," they say around here.. But they really do seem like quite a nice little group..
