What an awful album! Even the production, for once, works against it, flattening an already flat and uninspired record!! The fact that the RHCP had run out of steam was abundantly clear with Californication; the surprising thing is the poor work in the direction by Rick Rubin!!

Hellhammer, you haven't understood a damn thing: the comparison was made a few dozens of comments up by someone named DjZell. Precisely, I was saying that Nirvana and Linkin Park are not really comparable. Learn to read. As for the new generation bands that are immensely better, here are some examples: Strokes, White Stripes, The Rapture, Interpol, Clouddead, Mars Volta, Notwist, Sigur Ros, Lemon Jelly, Elbow, Liars, TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Broken Social Scene; just to mention a few of the more famous ones, at least you might have heard some of them. Learn, learn, you little fool..
