no no, Bathory, calm down! :)) You're absolutely right about Motorhead! They are among the first to capture a lot of the punk attitude!

And here we are again!! :)) Metalhead, by now I even find you quite likable, but this review is too "fanatic" for my tastes.. :))) I won't even discuss the album, of course..
Iron Maiden Somewhere In Time

To me, Iron Maiden's albums all seem the same, at least from "Number.." onwards, which definitely means they're pretty mediocre. The first period was better, "Killers" is a great album!

NOOOOOOO.. I wanted to do it!! :)) Maybe you could have contextualized it more historically, but other than that it's a perfect review, and what an album, guys!! I listened to it all the way through this afternoon for the first time.. F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!

A few more concrete examples: Rocka Rolla, the debut of Judas, year: 1974. Saxon, a historic band of the NWOBHM, was formed in 1977. Not to mention various Exciter, Iron Maiden (founded by Steve Harris in 1976), Motörhead, whose debut dates back to 1978... You see, Metalhead: sometimes even opposites attract!! :)))

Bathory, I hope you're joking!! Someone like you doesn’t know that there was a movement called the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (the main exponents being a "little group" named Judas Priest), which was actually the first real heavy metal movement, starting in 1977, almost simultaneously with Punk? Chronologically, it's simply IMPOSSIBLE for Heavy to derive from punk!
