Vane, and where's the brilliance? Most tracks repeat the same old tune for five or more minutes; it's boring, heavy, never humble, fluid, or truly moving. Why does Robert Smith have to end every piece screaming at the top of his lungs? And where's the credibility of an artist who, at nearly 50, repeats what he wrote when he was 20 (I'm referring to the lyrics)? Hmm... many doubts...

How great! I also give the vote to the concert because from what I read, it must have been the equivalent of what I saw at the Pistoia Blues a few years ago... :(

Ah, and here finally is the return of Attilio; I’m sorry to disappoint you, but if you look a few dozen comments above, you’ll discover that many of us are "piling on" against Dream Theater, both on this site and elsewhere; so as you can see, it’s more than just my personal battle, it’s rather a legitimate opinion of many.
I’ve heard Liquid Tension unfortunately, never listened to a more useless group..
P.S. I never mentioned Igor Cavalera.

.. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Portnoy annoys me so much that there are really no grounds for me to be "jealous" of him..

Then we have Petro; well, maybe as you said I won’t understand a damn thing about drums, but since I've been playing for 7 years, I probably understand more than you anyway.

Then who’s there? Ah yes, the "usual" Downtown; in twenty years, no one will remember Dream Theater and you’ve already said why: to become a classic like the other bands you mentioned, one must first be modern, but the DT, at least I hope you’ll admit this too, have never really been modern.

Guys, guys!! Slow down, replying to everyone is becoming difficult!! : ) So, who should we start with? Let's go in order and begin with "Manuel": Listing all my wonderful musical gems would be tough, considering I have about 600 CDs. "Dream killer"? Maybe.. But probably a music critic trying to be objective has little to do with dreams; Even Laura Pausini makes her fans dream, so would you consider her a great artist? Oh no, that’s just not enough..

this latest album is "old," stale, with excellent sounds, great arrangements, but not a hint of melody, understood in the broad sense of substance, content of the track. Robert Smith has truly declined; he has reached the inevitable downward phase of an artist's career arc. Where is the freshness? Where is the liveliness? Where is the originality, the intent to bring out something new or at least to surprise as the Cure have always done? It pains me to admit it, but this is an album that flirts with mediocrity, and whether one is a fan or not, it should be acknowledged.

"we are the champions" one of the most beautiful things in the history of music? And for whom? Rather, it’s more appropriate to say the history of the music market. Anyone who considers such a thing to be the history of music is completely devoid of musical culture. Probably, with the same criterion, they would consider the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna, and other similar nonsense to be part of music history... more or less, they are equally sold and sung... Bleah!! how disgusting!!
