x djd: yes, but even if they didn't just pop up out of nowhere, that doesn't change the fact that this album is quite trendy; it really seems that there's no evidence to argue otherwise. Moreover, Burning Heart, okay, it's a now-historical indie label, but it's not exactly a guarantee of quality (see Millencolin).. Thirdly, I respect your opinion, but I don't see why "revealing office secrets" should undermine credibility; should a review always be passionate? Debatable. We should also, and above all, try to evaluate (more or less) objectively what we listen to; so what about those who do it for a living?

The DT "make music fuller than anyone else"... to make such statements, the only plausible explanation is, excuse me, a lack of musical knowledge... I don't want to think of even worse explanations... anyway, you be happy... I, as I have already abundantly stated, find them aesthetic, lifeless, useless, redundant, derivative, but I still think the best definition is "smoke sellers," because they are adept at skillfully peddling their music as art with their celebrated technique, when it has no more artistic value than a Ramazzotti or a Pausini (who are, in fact, less fake)...

As I mentioned a little earlier, if I receive a ton of reports, I'm really more than fine with it; I find it entertaining! You annoy me, and why is that? You contribute to my fun with your posts... If there’s one thing that could bother me, it’s that, always with the utmost respect, you seem harder than green pine cones: you repeat the same concept a hundred times, you never really respond, and who knows how you always steer the discussion in different directions, almost, just my assumption, as if you don’t really know what to say… apart from that...

no no but don't worry, I’ll keep my distance from these guys too! It's just that Gabri rightly suggested I review it, more than anything to finally have a review that concerns a new record release.. But as I already told Caz, most of this new rock’n’roll really doesn’t sit well with me.. Then, well, I wanted to give a "diplomatic" rating.

South, I'm really sorry, it must be a drag to receive these reports.. but it's a never-ending war here, they just won't stop writing to me!! In fact, if you have a chance, intervene, won't you? You who have perhaps a slightly different opinion from these fervent fans.. ; )

Gilles, you seem like someone who doesn’t really have any substantial argument to make and pulls out the most unlikely things.. but excuse me, who cares if it’s going to be performed in theater? Does that in itself mean it’s a great album? It has nothing to do with it, get that into your head, absolutely nothing! Respond with something from a musical standpoint, stick to what the album is, give me an in-depth analysis of the sounds, arrangements, structures, lyrics, who cares if it’s going to theater? A review should be done to explain an album, you’re right about that, well I’ve explained it from my point of view, if it doesn’t sit well with you that’s another story..
..and then, no guys, please, don’t drag me down like this, how can you say this is the best concept in history? You just make yourselves look ridiculous.. But do you know Tommy by The Who? And Quadrophenia? Have you ever heard of the Kinks? The Wall? Damn! The Wall by Pink Floyd!! You’re ridiculous.. really..

"Trusting" what? I trust what I hear, and in my opinion, this CD hasn't revolutionized anything... and I hope you’re not serious when you talk about copies sold and dates performed. Because do you really think the copies sold by an album are relevant to the quality of the album itself? And where's the correlation? I find no connection at all with the dates performed during the promotional tour... By such criteria, the best album in history would be "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, with its 60 million plus copies sold... or maybe "Pop" by U2, with its gigantic tour grossing over 600 million dollars... I repeat, I hope you’re not serious...

No, Marc. Bertoncelli curated the series, Eddy Cilia wrote the volume "Grunge", and in addition to being excellently documented, I think it is really well written. In any case, as other sources, I can mention the biography of Soundgarden by Chris Nickson, or the excellent Pearl Jam biography "long road" by Todesco, which dedicates the entire first part to the history of Seattle Rock.

I have already said more than once that the emotions a piece can SUBJECTIVELY evoke should not be debated (and I emphasize the subjectivity of a piece's emotional charge), but regarding the infamous anonymous comment above, as already mentioned, it was not about the CONTENT, but rather the WAY.

Of course, all correct, Attilio, but I repeat, regarding the legitimacy of my response, as I have already explained, I believed I had my good reasons.
