In my opinion, Metallaro, but this is absolutely a subjective and personal judgment, you can find many better ones... Starting with Palmer, continuing with Collins... Too much more style, too much more sound, too much more creativity...

"Unregistered user," you’re paranoid. In recent years, with all the talk of Mainstream, MTV, as opposed to independent and hardcore Rock, a lot of people have developed this phobia of the fake artist, the cheating jerk who mocks everyone. It seems like nobody can escape being labeled as false anymore; just a minor screw-up, like signing with a major label or making a music video, and you’re immediately branded a sellout. But enough! Want some advice? Focus on the music instead of the surrounding noise. You’ll quickly realize who is worth listening to and who isn’t.

P.S. On MTV, Pearl Jam went with Jeremy and a few other excerpts from "Ten"; after that, nothing until 7 years later, with "Do the Evolution," which, by the way, nobody paid attention to; for the various Vs, Vitalogy, No Code, they didn't release any videos. Draw your own conclusions on how much they could have "benefited" from it..

"First real exploiters"? But Ament and Gossard were among the founders of the scene with Green River!! But have you ever listened to Green River? In any case, Ten was released so close to Nevermind that it's impossible to claim that they "took advantage" of it. Ah Jeff, go back and review some dates! Did they want to sound like G'n'R? And who? Alice in Chains? Yeah, sure, but Alice in Chains don't even sound like they have much in common with Guns 'n' Roses musically, so, Ah Jeff, give some of those records another listen, will you?

Rooster, don’t pay attention to that; for these idiots up here, makeup is a real obsession, and besides, they think all makeup looks the same... A 'JEFF, GET IT TOGETHER!!!

Absolutely agree with Rooster. If there's a genre that has been genuine over the last 20 years, it's Grunge. Let's not forget that (many seem to have forgotten or never knew) in Seattle there were bands and they were already well developed in a movement long before they hit MTV and reached a mainstream audience, dating back to 1984 (Soundgarden); bands that notoriously couldn't care less about success, since they all lived in such a peripheral and remote place, having no hope of breaking through. And at the moment when, against all odds, some groups truly broke through, that was indeed the beginning of the end.

The only thing I can say about the character is that he gave a rather insightful interview about Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine"... Musically, I find him finished, although perhaps he never even got started.

Very thorough, Charles, but I’m not so sure about your tastes after what you wrote about Snow Patrol... : )) Just kidding, I’m happy to listen; Kosmo doesn’t like them, but Rumore and other eminent debaseristi do... Mmmmm, we’ll see, we’ll see...
