but poor Jeff, if Pearl Jam, like any book even a bit mediocre, could reveal to you, were born in '90, how could they, I say, "jump on the bandwagon" if Nevermind is from '91? Could they perhaps predict that it would have such enormous success? And how? Even Sonic Youth a few years earlier had moved to a major label, but their sales had not changed (they would only change in '92 with Dirty) and the same goes for Screaming Trees or Husker Du...

Dynamics, man... Collins has an incredible sense of dynamics, and the way he modulates sounds is something I've rarely heard. And anyway, he's also quite a beast when it comes to odd time signatures, etc., but of course, Genesis used them in a completely different way than DT... and then, the way he fills, how he roars on those drums, but with such a style that he never overdoes it...

ha ha ha "unregistered user" answered himself! He acts so cool, and then he still believes that Marilyn Manson is "honest" with his fans... But "user"! Be careful! MM is a sly one, much more than the groups you so despise. All it took for him was to create that image of being the ultimate "anti-values" figure, and there you have all the fifteen-year-old American teens and others drooling at his feet... Ouch, but he’s almost worse than a Boy-band when it comes to "bullshitting" and deceit...
