ah ah noooo, this compilation is fantastic!! : ) Grunge is not a genre, it's a movement, the movement from the city of Seattle, born around the mid-'80s. It can't be defined as post-punk because there are too many elements taken from early '70s hard rock, and also something from metal. Take Soundgarden, or Alice in Chains, or Melvins, or Earth, they have little punk in them. I fully agree that it's basically a crossover of styles.

You're right, Strafiko... when I read Mauro's nonsense, I can't help but respond to him; the amusement is just too much! :D But Hal, why do you reply seriously? This guy has posted something like 20 comments in one day; it's obvious he has serious issues, the poor guy. Frustration, inability to relate to others, and this constant insistence on homosexuality is suspicious... he probably spends all day thinking about what to respond to "those on the left," those meanies who reply to him so harshly, and in his free moments, he is likely staring at the wall, repeating his posts to himself... a hopeless case...
