I never said that the guitarist of the Smiths is a genius.. sure, compared to Malmsteen it’s another world, at least he created and added color to the piece, rather than using it as an excuse to showcase his ego. As for Lee Ranaldo, there’s not much to say, genius no, a rather ambiguous term, but definitely a great guitarist. The History of Rock.

Lee Ranaldo has the immense greatness of exploiting the guitar to the fullest without even knowing how to play. A god. Malmsteen? The most useless musician on the face of the earth, I believe! But I was surprised, ME, by such objectivity in reviewing him.. I don’t agree with the rating, though.. given the absolutely null musical content, a 0 was inevitable, as I happily bestow.
